Hemmroids, or hemorrhoids causes - there are many different hemmorroids causes but one of the most common hemroid causes is constipation.

The extra strain involved when trying to pass hard stool increases the pressure in the anal system and the veins swell up, increasing the risk of getting hemmroids. Much in the same way, anything that will cause extra pressure or strain in the anal canal is capable of being the cause of hemorroids.
The internal tissue which functions as support for the anal veins will be under extra tension when the pressure increases during bowel straining, lifting of heavy objects, pregnancy etc and a result of that is that can be bleeding and eventually cause hemmroids. If the pressure is applied for long, there is an increased risk that the veins will prolapse (known as prolapsed hemmroids) - fall outside of the anus - where the risk of infections is even larger and you may then eventually need hemmroids surgery. This is the explanation that hemroids during pregnancy is fairly common (known also as pregnancy hemmorroids or pregnant hemmeroids).
Hemmorroids are caused by, or will get worse by anything that increases the pressure in the anal vains. A job where you are sitting all day on a hard surface (an old bad office chair) combined with a light constipation can be all that is needed to cause hemorrhoids.
Once the veins are swollen, or even protruded, anything like diarrhea or any excessive anal cleaning can cause the veins to get infected which will make the case of hemmoroids worse. Sitting on the toilet for long periods, being pregnant, child birth, heavy lifting etc can also cause hemmoroids.
To prevent hemmroids (hemmorroids), it is important to avoid excessive rubbing in the anal area, excessive straining, cleaning etc which might lead to irritation and later to infection if there is a small amount of bleeding. All this can cause hemmroids.
Pregnancy hemmeroids (hemmroids while pregnant) are caused by the extra pressure on the anal system caused by the carrying of the extra weight and hemmroids while pregnant is fairly common. There are also hormonal changes during pregnancy which can lead to hemorrhoids.
During pregnancy, there is a certain risk of getting hemroids (hemorrhoids) due to the fetus and the enlargened womb excerting pressure on the rectal veins. When pregnant, you will also have a larger than normal amount of blood in your body which will contribute to the risk of getting hemmorroids (hemmeroids). Pregnant hemmroids (hemmoroids).
Hemmrods, or hemmerhoids can be internal or external. There are thrombosed haemroids, prolapsed hemorhoids. Treatment ranges from herbal relief and cure to haemmoroids surgery.
